Giving Societies

At University Hospitals, there is no greater mark of success than the support of those we serve. No greater measure of our performance than our connection to the community. To honor the support we have received from our community, University Hospitals has two giving societies for our generous donors.

Samuel Mather Society

The Samuel Mather Society, named in honor of the renowned Cleveland industrialist, philanthropist and former UH Board Chairman, recognizes individuals, family foundations, associations, corporations, foundations and organizations whose cumulative, lifetime giving to UH totals $1 million or more.

Benefactor Society

We gratefully acknowledge the exceptional generosity of our Benefactor Society members, whose cumulative (lifetime) giving totals $25,000 – $999,999. The society recognizes individuals, family foundations, special events, associations, corporations and foundations.
