Meet the honorees: Jocelyne and Frank Linsalata

Jocelyne and Frank Linsalata are steadfast supporters of University Hospitals Rainbow Babies & Children’s. As champions of children’s health and well-being, they have made a tremendous impact on Rainbow through their leadership and support.

Jocelyne and Frank Linsalata

Jocelyne and Frank recently made a very generous gift to Rainbow, elevating their previously established endowed chair to the Linsalata Family Distinguished Chair in Pediatric Critical Care and Emergency Medicine. Dr. Steven Shein, Chief of the Division of Pediatric Critical Care, holds the Linsalata Distinguished Chair. Their gift also supports key Rainbow-focused initiatives that are foundations of Because of You: The Campaign for University Hospitals.  Jocelyne serves on the Because of You Campaign Cabinet as co-chair of the Rainbow Campaign, helping inspire the community to support our top-ranked children’s hospitals.

Jocelyne is a past trustee and vice president of the Rainbow Babies & Children’s Foundation. She previously served as a member of the UH Rainbow National Leadership Council and the co-chair of the UH Center for Emergency Medicine Leadership Council. A two-time graduate of Youngstown State University (YSU), she served as a trustee and board chair of the YSU Foundation Board from 2007-2023. Jocelyne currently serves as a trustee of the YSU Board of Trustees. She also sits on the Advisory Council for YSU’s Williamson College of Business Administration and is a member of the University President’s Council. Jocelyne served eight years on the executive committee of the Cleveland Area Alzheimer’s Association in addition to several years as director of volunteers for the American Red Cross. Frank is a loyal supporter of many causes in Cleveland and Naples, including serving as chairman of the board of trustees at Case Western Reserve University, UH’s primary academic affiliate, and as a past trustee of Laurel School. A highly successful corporate executive who went on to lead a thriving private equity firm, Linsalata Capital Partners, Frank was elected to the Northern Ohio Business Hall of Fame in 2012. He is a graduate of Case Western Reserve University and Harvard Business School. Jocelyne and Frank are the proud parents of Dan and Natalie and grandparents of four.

Jocelyne and Frank are treasured benefactors and friends of UH Rainbow Babies & Children’s, and the Naples Rainbow Circle of Friends is thrilled to honor them this year.
